Upgrade Your Power: LiTime 12V 20Ah Marine Starting Battery
Discover the perfect replacement for your lead-acid battery with the LiTime 12V 20Ah Marine Starting Battery. Designed to deliver 800 CCA (under -10℃). Featuring top BMW-grade LiFePO4 starting cells, this battery supports a max. charging current of 80A from outboard alternator. Experience superior performance in a more compact and lighter package, making it the ideal choice for any boating enthusiast seeking reliability and efficiency.
BMW Grade LiFePO4 Starting Cells
BMW-grade starting cells are ideal for high-end automotive production, offering excellent internal resistance and consistent capacity, the cells provide the highest capacity, superior cycling performance, longer lifespan, and robust discharge capabilities, even under long-term high-power use.
⭐Patented Sheet Metal Constraint Structures
Helps to maintain reliable performance and prevent overheating, physical damage, and other safety risks.
⭐Fast Charging and High Power Discharge
Support max. charging current of 80A from outboard alternator and offer 800 CCA
⭐Low Impedance ≤40mΩ
The lower the impedance, the better rate of charge and discharge the cells can go through.
Self-Developed BMS for Cranking up Marine Passion
Distinct from basic BMS with only 5 protections (over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, over-temp, and short-circuit), the LiTime self-developed BMS includes these and offers over 20 protections, such as low-temp cut-off protection, auto-recovery after overload protection (30s), pre-charge function, and resistance to moisture and salt spray.
Safeguards Longivity and Performance under Low-Temp
The battery features an intelligent cut-off function that halts charging below 0°C (32°F) and discharging below -20°C (-4°F). This low-temperature protection safeguards the battery from damage in cold conditions, extending its lifespan and ensuring long-lasting performance.
Born for Marine Outboard with Outdoor-Rated Quality
Engineered for marine excellence, this battery delivers 800 CCA and 810 MCA. Designed with outdoor-rated quality, it features IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection, ensuring reliable performance in any conditions. Born for marine outboard use, it's your ideal companion on the water.
All-Round Superior to Lead-Acid Battery
Experience unparalleled power with LiTime LiFePO4 marine starting battery, offering all-round superiority over traditional lead-acid batteries. Enjoy over 5000 cranking times and a remarkable 10-year lifespan. LiTime 12V 20Ah marine starting battery is a lightweight, compact, and long-lasting alternative to lead-acid batteries. At 74% lighter and 50% smaller, it offers easy installation and space-saving benefits, ensuring you get the most efficient and reliable energy solution.
Three Fast Charging Ways
With the LiTime 12V 20Ah starting battery, you can choose from three convenient charging options to suit your needs. Whether you use a LiFePO4 battery charger, generator, or outboard alternator, you can fully charge your battery efficiently and reliably. We recommend 0.5C(10A) charging current, about 2 hours to charge fully. And only 40 minutes to fully charge if charged with a maximum continuous charge current of 1.5C (30A).Compared with lead-acid battery charging (usually charging current is 0.1C), the max. The charging current of the LiFePO4 battery can shorten the charging time by 15 times, so it can be charged with more power in a shorter period, which can satisfy the demand of going out in a hurry.

No. Please DO NOT use it as a starter battery for any type of vehicle, suchas cars, motorbikes, tractors, etc.
For better using the battery, here are some safety precautions to notice:
1. Do not use this battery as a starter battery for any type of vehicle, such as cars, motorcycles, trucks, etc.
2. This battery is not suitable for engines (such as outboard motors) that use a charging coil instead of an alternator.
3. When used in marine starting equipment (such as fuel outboard engines) or in environments with vibration, ensure the battery is securely mounted. However, it should not be used in areas with intense vibrations, such as tractors.
4. When using with outboard engines or in shaking environments, make sure to securely fasten the battery to prevent damage from movement.
5. Position the battery closer to the outboard motor, as different cable lengths may cause a certain amount of voltage loss, typically between 3% and 10%. If the voltage drop caused by the cable exceeds this range, the total cable length should be reduced.
6. The 12V 20Ah marine cranking battery supports an IP67 protection rating. To avoid potential issues, do not fully submerge it in bilge water. To prevent parts of the battery from being exposed to water, it is recommended to install the battery in a waterproof battery container and/or place it in an elevated position.
Please ensure that your fuel outboard motor meets the following conditions when selecting a battery:
When you receive your battery, please note that it may have a low State of Charge (SOC) due to transportation and storage. For optimal performance, we recommend charging the battery immediately to avoid over-discharge.
Fully charge the battery with battery charger for LiFePO4 lithium before first use. Battery voltage lower than 11.5V will not be able to start motors.
The duration of a single start cannot exceed 3 seconds. When the primary ignition fails, wait for 15 seconds beforerestarting. If the motor still cannot be started after three ignitions, checkfor other causes and wait 5 minutes before igniting again.
No. It doesn't support battery in series or parallel connection.
Awesome so far it weighs 9 lbs and replaced a 60 lb dual purpose battery I had to fabricate a battery holder as it was so small but that took an hour so no big deal starts my 60 horse Suzuki 4 stroke no problem and did I mention it weighs 9 lbs !!
The first two times I used it, no problems! It worked perfectly until I unknowingly turned the ignition switch on. The next thing I knew the battery went dead! Now it will not charge. Any suggestions?
I have now completed the battery install of all 5 batteries purchased from Litime. I have a 50 ah from my electronics 3-100 ah wired for 36 volts for my Garmin force trolling motor and the starting battery running th motor and the other electronic stuff needed on my bass boat. So far I cant say enough good things about these batteries. I have not had one fail me yet and they have all the power i need to run everything for several days without recharging. Thank you Litime for such good batteries.
Had to charge it twice, but seems to be working great. Plenty of power to start 75 horse outboard
It's a big battery it's longer than a standard battery tray so it will require modification.
But it's a very nice battery so far.
I like the Bluetooth feature where you can check the status and litime has good customer service.
Great value for these batteries and I am very pleased on how they keep a good charge throughout the day!
This battery is VERY light and has held up well on days with multiple starts on a Yamaha 60 2 stroke. I would recommend getting a LiTime charger for this battery to top off the charge the night before you go out on the boat, using the LiTime charger i think gives this battery the best shot at lasting a decent amount of time vs using another brands generic LiFePo4 charger. Even if you get 2-3 years out of these batteries I think they are worth the price as they are 1/4th the price of a Dakota or similar "on-brand" battery.
Size: The size is compact and is very light, I was able to get more storage space and take weight off my skiff to help with draft with just changing the battery to one of these LiTimes, I also have the trolling motor battery thats 100ah and have really enjoyed the weight savings to help me get shallower.
Functionality: The 20ah rating this battery has I believe is true and not inflated, I run speakers and GPS off this battery with the motor off pretty often and sometimes for for a few hours and havent killed the battery yet so it does have good battery life. It has plenty of cranking amps to start my yamaha 60 2 stroke and I would think a 4 stroke 60hp would do well with this battery also.
Like the size and weight, I have installed it in my boat but have not had a chance to run it
