"Best Value" 12V Heated Lithium Battery
When you receive your battery, please note that it may have a low State of Charge (SOC) due to transportation and storage. For optimal performance, we recommend charging the battery immediately with AC-DC lithium battery charger or MPPT solar charge controller to avoid over-discharge.
If you plan to store the battery for an extended period without use, charge it to a SOC of 30% to 50% and perform maintenance every three months. This will help preserve its functionality and performance over time.
These two series primarily address the charging issues of LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather. The main difference between the Low-Temperature series and the Self-Heating series lies in the presence of an automatic Battery Management System (BMS) heating module. The Self-Heating series allows the battery to self-warm without any action required from the user while charging. However, the Low-Temperature Protection series like LiTime 12V 100Ah TM & LiTime 12V 230Ah will automatically cut-off the charging when the temperature is below 0â (32â), and it requires you to take some measures, such as placing the battery in a warm indoor environment, to warm it up to 5â (41â) and restore charging capability.

No. The charging will start after the lithium battery heats itself to 10â (50â).
External heating only heats the casing and does not heat the battery cells. In conditions of -20°C, after external heating for two hours, the battery cells temperature rise to 5°C, but the lead-acid casing temperature has risen to 70-80°C.
Therefore, it is not recommended to externally heat the battery, as the actual cell temperature cannot be determined at this time.
LiTime 12V 100Ah Self Heating LiFePO4 Lithium Battery, equivalent to group 31 battery size, weigh on 24.3 lbs, much lighter than 12V 100Ah lead-acid batteries on the market.

Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards.
All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection â protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.
No. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.

1. Using Solar Panels
The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 300W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by â„300W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency. Besides solar panels, there are 2 more ways to charge. Suggest reading: 3 reliable ways to charge LiFePO4 lithium batteries
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: â 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ⥠50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers
To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.
Yes. The self heating lithium battery can safely charge between -20â to 50â ( -4â to 122â). The built in self-heating pad will automaticlly start heating the battery.
No. This battery is not compatible with the Bluetooth module. You can use a 500A Battery Monitor With Shunt to keep track of battery status.
If your battery completely shuts off due to low SOC, disconnect loads immediately and recharge it as soon as possible to prevent damage.
By monitoring your 12V lithium battery's SOC and charging at 50% SOC, you can maximize the usable energy per cycle while minimizing strain on the battery. This careful SOC balancing helps extend the lifespan of your lithium deep cycle battery significantly.
