What is the capacity of these batteries?
These batteries are 12.8V 100Ah (Amp-hour) LiFePO4 batteries. Energy power of 1280Wh.
What applications are these batteries suitable for?
They are suitable for RVs, marine (trolling motors), DIY solar projects, off-grid living, and home energy backup.
What features are available?
Features include Bluetooth connectivity, self-heating, low-temperature protection, and 2C-rate options.
What is the cycle life of these batteries?
They offer 4000 cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD), 6000 cycles at 80% DOD, and up to 15,000 cycles
What is special about the 12V 100Ah "Self-Heating" battery?
It offers 2X quick heat for reliable charging in winter conditions.
What does "2C-Rate" mean for the 12V 100Ah "Max" battery?
A 2C-rate means the battery can be discharged at twice the rate that would deplete it in one hour. In the case of a 100Ah battery, a 2C discharge rate would be 200A (Amps).
The 2C-Rate on the LiTime 12V 100Ah Max battery indicates that it can deliver a higher current output for demanding applications, making it well-suited for RVs where multiple appliances might be running at the same time.
What makes the 12V 100Ah "Group 24 Omni" battery unique?
It's a compact 4-in-1 powerhouse with Bluetooth, self-heating, and low-temp protection.
How to charge LiTime 12V 100Ah lithium batteries?
You have three main options for charging your LiTime battery:
- Solar Panels:
- With 400W solar panels and about 4.5 hours of effective sunshine per day, you can fully charge the battery in one day.
- If using solar panels ≥400W, keep in mind that charging time can vary depending on sunlight duration and intensity. It may take longer than one day to fully charge.
2. Generator/Alternator:
- For DC Output Generators/Alternators: You'll need a DC-to-DC charger to connect the battery.
- For AC Output Generators/Alternators: Use a suitable battery charger between the generator and the battery, following our recommendations.
- Important: The recommended charging voltage is 14.2V - 14.6V.
- Charging Current: 20A (0.2C): Full charge in approximately 5 hours. 50A (0.5C): Charges to about 97% capacity in roughly 2 hours.
- Use a 14.6V LiFePO4 smart charger for optimal charging.
