    I purchased a 24V 100Ah to use with my Minn Kota Trolling Motor. I had a Bluetooth Victron battery meter installed to monitor the battery. The battery was showing fully charged. It was obvious as soon as I started using the trolling motor that something was wrong with the battery as the drain on the battery was extreme. The battery charge went from 100% to 90 to 80 to 70 within minutes. I moved from the shallows out to the ocean and put the motor on spot lock. After about 45-60 minutes of fishing on spot lock I noticed I was drifting. I looked up and saw my motor was off. I tried to turn the trolling motor back on, it would not turn back on. I pulled up the meter app and could not connect to the meter as there was not enough power in the battery to power the meter. My motor is auto stow and deploy so I had to manually pull the motor off the mount and place in the bottom of the boat.

    When I returned to the storage unit and connected the LiTime charger the power came back on for me to read the meter. The battery was showing 100% charged, which obvious it was not. The battery also showed a cumulative Ah drawn of 45 Ah, but the battery completely shut down. The draw curves were very severe and showed stopping and 25%, I assume to protect the battery.
    CS quickly agreed with the evidence provided that the battery was defective, but we have been going back and forth now for over a week on getting return labels. I believe the CS is in Asia and they respond 1 time per day in the middle of the night, I am in NC, and will only answer one question at a time. I have even responded a couple times immediately, and they will not respond back until the next night. Since I am returning the battery, I want to return the charger as well since I will not have a LiTime battery. They will pay for shipping for the battery but I have to pay $22 for return shipping for the charger. I stopped arguing as it is just $22 to get this resolved, but I tried to explain to them what will I do with their charger If I am returning their defective battery. I appreciate LiTime is standing behind their product and quick to admit fault when presented with evidence. However, the process has been long and drawn out and is still not resolved.

    To put it as simply as possible this battery is just awesome. I use it for a trolling motor and it just works. If you are thinking about upgrading just do it. Before I used two lead acid batteries like most people have and I would have to charge it every day and I still wouldn’t get that much use out of it. Plus the trolling motor would lose performance throughout the whole day. I have charged the new battery once and the trolling motor has been unstoppable for the last couple weekends. The power output is consistent and it just never ends. It’s also super light. The only regret I have is that I didn’t get it sooner and that’s the honest truth. Ain’t no bot writing this so you can trust it.

    You sent it with a 30% charge. I've waited almost a month for a charger. Still haven't taken the battery out of the box! Now YOU WANT A REVIEW!!!?

    Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. Here are 3 reliable ways to charge

    1. Using Solar Panels

    The LiTime 24V 100Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 800W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥800W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.

    2. Generator/Alternator

    If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.

    The Recommended Charging Voltage: 28.4V - 29.2V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
