How to Charge 12V Battery
You need to connect the DC output cable with the battery first, making sure their positive and negative connection isn't reversed. Then connect the Anderson connector. Lastly, plug your AC input into the outlet.

How do I know if my battery is charging correctly?

What type of batteries is this charger compatible with?
This 12V (14.6V) 60A charger is specifically designed for 12V LiFePO4 lithium batteries. At 60A, a 300Ah 12V LiFePO4 battery can be fully charged in about 5 hours, depending on the initial charge level.
Does this charger have a fan, and is it noisy?
Yes, this charger includes a fan for cooling, which activates during operation to prevent overheating. The noise level is minimal and is typical of high-power chargers.
Does this charger stop charging automatically?
Yes, it has an automatic shutoff feature. Once the battery reaches full capacity, the charger stops charging and switches to maintenance mode to prevent overcharging.
Is it safe to leave the battery connected to the charger all the time?
Although it is generally safe to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger, as both the charger and the battery itself have a BMS to prevent overcharging, it’s still best to monitor the charging process.
Once the battery is fully charged, disconnecting it promptly is recommended to avoid unnecessary damage.
For convenience, LiTime offers chargers with Anderson connectors, allowing you to stop charging simply by unplugging the Anderson connector without needing to separate the battery terminals from the screws after charging.
However, for optimal safety, it’s advised to first unplug the AC plug before disconnecting the Anderson connector.
