Unboxing Video

The LiTime 12V 165Ah lithium battery offers 2112Wh of energy, with runtime varying based on load power. For instance, it can power a 1100W air conditioner for 1.92 hours, a 900W coffee maker for 2.34 hours, and a 1000W electric grill for 2.11 hours.
When you receive your new battery, it might arrive with a low state of charge (SOC) due to transport and storage. To ensure optimal performance, it's important to charge the battery right away to prevent over-discharge.
If your battery features Bluetooth functionality, such as the 12V 165Ah lithium battery, it may come powered off, displaying a terminal voltage between 3V and 5V, which means you won't be able to connect it to your phone. This shipping method helps minimize self-discharge and prolongs the battery's lifespan, similar to how mobile phones are shipped.
To resolve this issue, you can use one of two methods: either an AC-DC lithium battery charger or an MPPT solar charge controller. Simply charge the battery for 3 to 10 seconds to enable normal usage.
If you plan to store the battery for an extended period, charge it to a SOC of 50% and perform maintenance checks every three months. This practice will help maintain its functionality and performance.
The LiTime 12V 165Ah battery can be charged in four different ways:
1. Solar Panels and Controller
2. Battery Charger
Tip: It's advisable to disconnect the charger from the battery once charging is complete.
3. Generator
4. Alternator
By utilizing these charging methods, you can efficiently maintain the performance and longevity of your LiTime 12V 165Ah battery.
Yes, LiTime 12V 165Ah LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 0°C to 50°C / 32°F to 122°F. The 12V 165Ah has been upgraded with low-temperature cut-off protection; therefore, the battery can automatically cut off charging and discharging under low temperatures to protect its lifespan and performance.
Read on LiFePO4 Temperature Range Guide for more detailed temp instructions of using the lithium batteries.
Yes, LiTime has a portable battery box for group 31. Built-in voltmeter allows it to be used for marine and RV applications, fitting group size 24, group size 27, and group size 31 batteries.
No. As a type of deep cycle battery, please DO NOT use it as a starter battery for any type of vehicle, such as cars, motorcycles, tractors, etc. For marine starting applications, please visit LiTime Marine Starting Batteries.
Yes, the 12V 165Ah lithium battery supports a maximum configuration of 4 in series and 4 in parallel, allowing for a 48V 660Ah energy system that offers more power than a 48V 400Ah setup.
With a capacity of 33.7kWh, you can enjoy long-lasting energy for essential appliances—run your fan, fridge, and TV with ease, or power high-demand devices like washing machines, microwaves, and air conditioners without interruptions. This makes it ideal for home storage systems and off-grid living, ensuring that your power needs are always met.
Note: To connect batteries in series or parallel, they must meet the following conditions:
They should be identical batteries with the same capacity (Ah) and battery management system (BMS) rating (A).
They must be from the same brand, as lithium batteries from different brands have unique BMS configurations.
They should be purchased within a close timeframe (ideally within one month).
It is strongly not recommended. Only Bluetooth-enabled batteries can be monitored individually, while the system as a whole cannot be tracked. Mixing them may compromise total capacity and system performance.
The battery uses passive balancing technology, which safely manages cell voltage differences to maintain battery longevity and stability.
A LiTime Group 31 lithium battery is designed to fit standard Group 31 battery trays and compartments, making it suitable for RVs, campers, boats, off-grid power systems, and other applications where a Group 31 size battery is required.
Group 31 lithium batteries are physically larger and have higher capacity/energy than Group 24 batteries. Group 24 units are smaller with lower Ah capacity, while Group 31 units deliver more power and longer runtimes in the same battery category.Learn more about differences Between Group 24 VS Group 31 Battery.
This 12v 165Ah battery is the latest addition to my LiTime collection. I have 48v smart batteries for home energy storage (worked great in this latest ice storm) and now am adding 12v 165Ah smart batteries to the team! I have standardized on LiTime; quality products and great customer service! They won't let you down.
Took it out for 6hrs and I had plenty of power left. Time will tell how it will hold up next season. As of now, it’s works as it should.
I build an overland auxiliary battery box for the back of my tundra. The Li Time 165ah battery is perfect. I love the blue tooth battery monitoring. I couldn’t be happier with this product.
I purchased 2 165 batteries. They were delivered as scheduled and came charged about 50%. I was shocked how much lighters they were than the original AGM batteries. The batteries came with bolts as the battery terminals. As the batteries are under the chassis it was difficult to put two battery cables on each and get them started. There should be an option to use studs instead. Perhaps if the bolts were a little longer it might be easier but I don't know how that would work with the female connection.
Ias far as the batteries themselves I'm pleased. We boondocked for two days using the truma heater as it was in the 40's at night and the batteries SOC was about 25%.
I got a quote to have 3 batteries installed, upgrade the converter charger and probably some wiring. The quote was a little over $10K. With 2 batteries it was about $8K.
I did it myself for about $700, this included $15 for a pendant that boosts the charger output to 14+ volts to fully charge the lithium batteries.
And for the record I'm 76 years old and did the installation myself. I did purchase a transmission jack to remove the batteries
