Added the 500A battery monitor to my off grid system for my hunting buddies to be able to see what the SOC is on the system. Our system is a LiTime 24v 3Kw inverter charger, 2ea LiTime 12v 100a self heating batteries with 1560w of solar panels. The system is awesome and handles our needs. Will probably add 2 more batteries at some point. LiTime customer service was fast, they got me the 500a shunt the next day.
I just finished installing the LiTime 230AH battery, 500A Battery Monitor and Shunt, 14V 80AH AC charger, Breaker and Buss bars. It works exactly as I hoped. I used the battery for 3 days and nights, including running our electric blankets in the desert this spring, followed by the best part, and that was topping off the battery from 57% to 100% using my Honda Generator in 1 hour flat. Instead of Solar, I am considering adding their DC to DC charger for charging while driving between campsites, this would keep everything charged at all times.

Purchased this monitor and shunt for my golf cart. Replaced 6 8v trojan lead batteries with litime 51.2 60ah big battery with litime 10amp charger. Only complaint about the shunt is the studs are to wide so you have to upgrade your connections from your charger and anything else thats connected to shunt.. supposed to be plug and play but you will have to change connections out to bigger size. Other then that everything works together very well!
I had ordered group 24 100A battery for my trolling motor and crab Davit. I thought I had ordered the smart version but I messed up and didn't. After contacting LiTime about exchanging batteries, it was suggested that the 500A battery monitor would do the same thing and save the hassle and expense of the exchange. The monitor was ordered and everything got hooked up nicely.
The monitor screen is mounted on the battery box with velcro, the 20ft. cord allows it to be moved almost anywhere in the boat. Haven't used the system yet because it's to Dam Cold. Can't wait for Spring
