Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. Here are 3 reliable ways to charge
1. Using Solar Panels
The LiTime 12V 460Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 1850W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥1200W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 92A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 230A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

Batteries were not that old but started leaking acid somehow and eating away at the battery tray. Replaced with two of these and a new Lithium BIM and it all works great! Way more capacity and they weight a whole lot less to boot.
Thus far, I love my 460ah battery. I received great customer support from Kandy regarding all the details necessary to program my Victron BMV712 Battery Monitor and to set up my warranty info for this battery. Looking forward to many happy amp hours of electrified good times!
I tested this battery in conjunction with my old Prosine 3 inverter. I first powered a 1400 watt A/C heater which drew 95 amps DC for 20 minutes. Then ran a shop vacuum which drew 120 amp DC for 15 minutes. One of the photos shows the battery voltage under the 95 amp load. I have not yet tested its amp/hr capacity. I am conviced that the BMS is able to handle the loads which I will place on it in the future.
i purchased the 12v 460 battery and found it to be an easy installation coupled with the litime 100 amp charge controller.so far so good. it seems to be a good fit.
So far so good, I have this running my 4000w inverter and it's charged by 750w of solar. I'm able to run my portable a/c, I've run my wire feed welder as well. Everything is good so far, only time will tell , but I'm very happy with the battery so far
I have been communicating with Elaine in the support group about the proper way to protect my 460s in my RV since I am in a below freezing environment at times while using it and preparing it. I asked about the possibility of using a small electric heater in the battery compartment during the cold temperatures and she was so very helpful. I explained that the heat WOULD NOT be directed to the batteries, instead it would be directed to the wall(s) to have it circulate around them and she said that would be fine as long as the heat was not directed to them like a heating blanket. I did place the heater as planned and it is an amazing 60 F in the compartment and I have it secured so I can drive with it there and it will not fall over (if it did it would shut off anyway) and therefore I can charge while driving in below freezing temperatures with no concern of doing harm to them. By the way my battery compartment has nice ventilation and protection from the weather (rain etc.) ELAINE WAS JUST AMAZING IN HER KNOWLEDGE OF THE BATTERY CARE
