Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. Here are 3 reliable ways to charge
1. Using Solar Panels
The LiTime 12V 460Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 1850W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥1200W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 92A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 230A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers
To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.

Can I charge LiTime 46Ah LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?
LiFePO4 batteries are designed to charge safely within a temperature range of 0℃ to 50℃ (32℉ to 122℉). However, the 12V 460Ah LiFePO4 battery lacks low-temperature charging protection, meaning it cannot be charged below freezing (0℃ / 32℉).
In contrast, LiTime cold weather batteries feature advanced low-temperature charging-off protection, which automatically halts charging when the battery cell temperature drops below 32℉. This protective feature prevents damage to the battery cells, ensuring safe and reliable operation in cold environments.

Great product!!
Batteries were not that old but started leaking acid somehow and eating away at the battery tray. Replaced with two of these and a new Lithium BIM and it all works great! Way more capacity and they weight a whole lot less to boot.
Thus far, I love my 460ah battery. I received great customer support from Kandy regarding all the details necessary to program my Victron BMV712 Battery Monitor and to set up my warranty info for this battery. Looking forward to many happy amp hours of electrified good times!
I tested this battery in conjunction with my old Prosine 3 inverter. I first powered a 1400 watt A/C heater which drew 95 amps DC for 20 minutes. Then ran a shop vacuum which drew 120 amp DC for 15 minutes. One of the photos shows the battery voltage under the 95 amp load. I have not yet tested its amp/hr capacity. I am conviced that the BMS is able to handle the loads which I will place on it in the future.

I love the capacity!! I upgraded to this after deciding to add a 12 volt air conditioner to my rig. Just finished the installation of both and ran the AC for a few hours the other day and this battery will be great for my summer road trips.
i purchased the 12v 460 battery and found it to be an easy installation coupled with the litime 100 amp charge controller.so far so good. it seems to be a good fit.
So far so good, I have this running my 4000w inverter and it's charged by 750w of solar. I'm able to run my portable a/c, I've run my wire feed welder as well. Everything is good so far, only time will tell , but I'm very happy with the battery so far
