With the LiTime 12V 20Ah starting battery, you can choose from three convenient charging options to suit your needs. Whether you use a LiFePO4 battery charger, generator, or outboard alternator, you can fully charge your battery efficiently and reliably. We recommend 0.5C(10A) charging current, about 2 hours to charge fully. And only 40 minutes to fully charge if charged with a maximum continuous charge current of 1.5C (30A).Compared with lead-acid battery charging (usually charging current is 0.1C), the max. The charging current of the LiFePO4 battery can shorten the charging time by 15 times, so it can be charged with more power in a shorter period, which can satisfy the demand of going out in a hurry.

This is completely normal. Our batteries use high-performance starter cells, which have higher reactivity to deliver stronger starting current. To preserve battery life, the battery enters a low-power protection mode after prolonged storage. If you measure the voltage at this stage, it may read between 3–5V — this is expected. Not to worry. Simply recharge it using a charger with 0V activation function to easily wake the battery.
(We recommend using an official LiTime LiFePO4 battery charger.)
No. Please DO NOT use it as a starter battery for any type of vehicle, suchas cars, motorbikes, tractors, etc.
For better using the battery, here are some safety precautions to notice:
1. Do not use this battery as a starter battery for any type of vehicle, such as cars, motorcycles, trucks, etc.
2. This battery is not suitable for engines (such as outboard motors) that use a charging coil instead of an alternator.
3. When used in marine starting equipment (such as fuel outboard engines) or in environments with vibration, ensure the battery is securely mounted. However, it should not be used in areas with intense vibrations, such as tractors.
4. When using with outboard engines or in shaking environments, make sure to securely fasten the battery to prevent damage from movement.
5. Position the battery closer to the outboard motor, as different cable lengths may cause a certain amount of voltage loss, typically between 3% and 10%. If the voltage drop caused by the cable exceeds this range, the total cable length should be reduced.
6. The 12V 20Ah marine cranking battery supports an IP67 protection rating. To avoid potential issues, do not fully submerge it in bilge water. To prevent parts of the battery from being exposed to water, it is recommended to install the battery in a waterproof battery container and/or place it in an elevated position.

When you receive your battery, please note that it may have a low State of Charge (SOC) due to transportation and storage. For optimal performance, we recommend charging the battery immediately to avoid over-discharge.
Fully charge the battery with battery charger for LiFePO4 lithium before first use. Battery voltage lower than 11.5V will not be able to start motors.
The duration of a single start cannot exceed 3 seconds.When the primary ignition fails, wait for 15 seconds beforerestarting.If the motor still cannot be started after three ignitions, checkfor other causes and wait 5 minutes before igniting again.

Great little, lightweight power source. Installed in my '97 Champion boat with 150 motor. After charging, went to boat ramp to check if it had the CCA to start the motor. While the engine took several (5) tries to start it fired up. I let it warm up and shut motor off. I then started it several times to simulate actual fishing activity to see how much charge was used each time. It performed phenomenally, once back home I put it on my charger and it was fully charged in less than 2 min
Awesome so far it weighs 9 lbs and replaced a 60 lb dual purpose battery I had to fabricate a battery holder as it was so small but that took an hour so no big deal starts my 60 horse Suzuki 4 stroke no problem and did I mention it weighs 9 lbs !!
First step in getting my 30yr old Johnson 60hp running again was getting power to the starter. This battery is a champ for getting it started. And I'm counting on this lasting a lot longer than any lead battery. Great labor day deal and value for getting my project started

The first two times I used it, no problems! It worked perfectly until I unknowingly turned the ignition switch on. The next thing I knew the battery went dead! Now it will not charge. Any suggestions?
I have now completed the battery install of all 5 batteries purchased from Litime. I have a 50 ah from my electronics 3-100 ah wired for 36 volts for my Garmin force trolling motor and the starting battery running th motor and the other electronic stuff needed on my bass boat. So far I cant say enough good things about these batteries. I have not had one fail me yet and they have all the power i need to run everything for several days without recharging. Thank you Litime for such good batteries.
Had to charge it twice, but seems to be working great. Plenty of power to start 75 horse outboard
It's a big battery it's longer than a standard battery tray so it will require modification.
But it's a very nice battery so far.
I like the Bluetooth feature where you can check the status and litime has good customer service.
