So far, its been nothing but positive. The battery is a beast and it required some minor modification to get it to fit. Also need to be mindful of the need for a voltage regulator, to power 12v hardware. But these are not issues specific to these batteries.
The battery has brought new life to our 2008 golf cart, which we thought might be done for. Faster, smoother and a seemingly endless supply of power. Could have likely gotten away with a smaller battery.
Jumped on the Black Friday deal this year to replace my 6 Trojan T-875 8 volt batteries. The LiTime 100ah metal case battery kit was easy to install and the yellow template for the floor risers made the battery mounting easy. I did have to purchase longer stainless ****'s, nuts & fender washers to mount the risers to the cart floor. I will definitely use LiTime again in future projects! Thank you!

I’ve worked in the PV and EV sectors for 30 years as a Technician. I own an office trailer that I setup years ago as a work space. It has both utility and solar power sources, and a 4kW inverter with battery for backup power. When my AGM batteries finally expired, I decided to make the move to a LiFePO4 battery and briefly considered assembling my own pack.
I did a broad search of the market place and information sources (including Will Prowse) and was impressed with LiTime's product offerings and price point. I chose the 48V metal case product for several reasons; a) metal case would allow use in other environments/projects, b) the product offered 200A BMS and CAN bus communication, allowing for expansion to greater capacity by adding more modules, and c) a monitoring display was offered which provides crucial information about battery state.
The first battery arrived damaged due to rough handling during shipping (UPS). I contacted Customer Service representative Rickets who handed the return of the damaged battery and shipment of the replacement very quickly and efficiently. The replacement battery arrived undamaged (FedEx).
I was immediately impressed with the quality of the construction of the battery case, charger, cables, and display. All seem to be well made. I've had the battery in service for about four months now, charged only by solar. To date the battery has operated as expected and without issue.
I have other projects on the horizon that will require similar batteries. Based on what I’ve experienced to date, LiTime will very likely be my source of batteries.
The battery came packaged very well. Installing the battery was easy. Took the golf cart on a 2 miles ride and only dropped the battery charge by 3%. I have only had the battery for a couple of weeks but so far it’s better than expected.
In spite of FedEx, **** up the order and sending my battery to Connecticut, I enjoy working with this company and the quality of their products.
So far, I’m very impressed with this battery. I hadn’t had it but about four weeks but so far it’s beyond expectations.
If you are thinking about getting rid of your messy, over weight, non economical lead acid batteries, NOW IS THE TIME!! I recently purchased the 48 volt LiPo4 for my 96 Club Car DS and I wish i would have done it sooner. I dropped over 200 lbs of weight, went from 6 individual batteries to 1 sealed case, clean simplified wiring and no more headache of filling batteries. So far I've noticed an overall gain in speed, a longer more consistent run time, and the ability to charge the battery a lot faster. I'm impressed with the customer service I received while doing my install and the warranty sealed the deal for me. 5 stars isn't enough when rating this product. Thank you LiTime for renewing my old cart!!!
