    12V 40A DC to DC Battery Charger with MPPT

    Charger was installed in a RAM 3500 pickup with two parallel connected LI 12V 100AH Batteries using #8 gage wire, providing power to a 12V refridgerator. It operated well for the first few weeks. Then it failed to charge the batteries. When it is turned on, it charges for a few seconds, then the 60A circuit breaker on the input connected to the vehicle battery trips. Wendy at LI Time was very helpful with providing possible solutions to investigate. Turns out, the 60A circuit breaker I mounted in the engine compartment was tripping at 45A. It may have been damaged by the heat in the engine compartment. I installed a new 60A breaker inside the vehicle. Charger has been operating well.

    Użytkuję ładowarkę w zestawieniu z LiFePo4 200ah ogrzewanym. Funkcja ładowania akumulatora rozruchowego poza serwisowym sprawia, że ładowarka przy tej cenie bije konkurencje na głowę. Nie spełnia zadania przy małych alternatorach 50A.
