When you receive your battery, please note that it may have a low State of Charge (SOC) due to transportation and storage. For optimal performance, we recommend charging the battery with AC-DC lithium battery charger or MPPT solar charge controller immediately to avoid over-discharge.
If you intend to store the battery for an extended period without use, we recommend charging it to a SOC of 30% to 50% and conducting maintenance every three months. These measures will help preserve its functionality and performance in the long run.
Please be aware that this model should only be charged when the battery's temperature is above 32°F (0°C). Charging in freezing temperatures will damage the cells. On cold days, the best practice is to bring the battery indoors to charge.
For a detailed explanation, please read our complete Guide to LiFePO4 Battery Temperature Ranges.
For Charging in Freezing Temperatures: If your application requires charging in sub-zero weather (e.g., winter RVing, off-grid cabins), consider our LiTime Cold Weather Batteries. These advanced batteries include a built-in system (low-temperature charging off protection) that automatically manages charging in the cold, protecting your investment.
This battery model does not feature built-in Bluetooth. To monitor its status, you can pair it with our 500A Battery Monitor with Shunt.
For a Group 24 battery with Bluetooth functionality, you can explore the LiTime Group 24 Smart.
The Group 24 battery is a standard model measuring 10.5″L x 6.1875″W x 8.875″H, commonly found in vehicles, backup power systems, and medical equipment. These batteries are frequently utilized as deep cycle batteries rather than for starting engines.
The main difference between a Group 24 and Group 31 battery lies in their physical size. Group 24 batteries are generally smaller compared to Group 31 batteries.
Can read on Deep Cycle Group 24 VS Group 31 for more information.
To connect in series or parallel, batteries should meet the below conditions:
Because of the different BMS, it's not recommended to connect these 2 types of battery in series or parallel.
Read on Matters Needing Attention in Parallel and Series Connections for more precautions of connecting batteries.
LiTime group 24 batteries support versatile configurations, including series, parallel, and series-parallel connections.
Important Notes:
For safe and stable operation, all connected batteries must meet the following criteria:
✔ Same specifications – Identical capacity (Ah) and BMS rating (A)
✔ Same brand – Different brands may have incompatible BMS settings
✔ Purchased within a short timeframe (ideally within one month)
they are compact, lightweight and are a great addition to the solar system of my van conversion
Since we have not experienced a power outage this emergency power is ready for service. It contains 2 LiFePO4 batteries with a switch to select each battery or both batteries. In a long power outage each battery could be recharged separately, while the other battery is being in service.
My new Class C RV had a low CCC Rating so I removed the heavy 56lb AGM battery and replaced it with a 21lb battery. I get longer run time and a much lower weight. The solar panel charges the battery when sitting and going down the road. This is my 3rd LiTime Lithium battery I have installed on past years and they always have been great.
While I’ve only got a quick camping trip under my belt so far it’s working fine.
Went with the like new group 24 double pack deal for my 2021 Geo Pro because it fits in the factory box
The LiTimes batteries were a replacement for lead acid batteries. First off, the technical support from LiTimes was excellent to ensure the batteries could be used. Second, the order was placed smoothly and the batteries arrived within 3 days from date of order. The replacement was straight forward - the new LiTimes batteries are nearly 50% lighter than the lead acid batteries. Charged up the batteries for 24 hours and took the lawnmower for its first test spin. Quite honestly, it felt like the performance was better than when the lawnmower first came with lead acid batteries. As with the lead acid batteries I proceeded to charge the batteries after mowing the lawn and I was surprised by how quickly it charged. Mowing nearly 1/2 acre in about 25 minutes, it seemed like it only used about 20 - 30% of the 100Amp, and it took a little less than 3 hours to be fully charged. Can't wait for my second test run, and then skipping the immediate charging thereafter. So far - very, very impressed.
The battery itself is. Ice. Love the weight. My only issues are with support. I would love to have a phone number to actually speak to someone rather than text or email. Takes too long to get an answer. I can't i.agibe trying to reach someone in an emergency while at an RV Site. Difficult to get the app working. The paperwork has you using the latest but it doesn't work. Finally used the other app and all is well. A tech support rep would have been better to solve my issues. No torque given with the paperwork that came with the battery. Had to again, text, to find out but they did respond. Overall very happy with the battery just not the support.
Itworks
Used it to run my 45 lb thrust trolling motor for a week without charging. Granted I only used the trolling motor for 20 to 30 minutes a day but never dropped below 12.8 volt according to my fish finder battery voltage display. Also during that time it was running my fish finder for 4 or 5 hours each day . What's super nice though is how darn light it is and I can actually carry it easily from boat to RV if I need to charge it or out of the boat into the shop for storage.
