Smart LiFePO4 Battery that Supports Both Series & Parallel Connections: It's one of the few LiFePO4 lithium batteries that support battery connections in series & parallel at the same time. The LiTime 12V 100Ah smart battery supports maximum connections of 4 in series and 4 in parallel. Allow you to build up a maximum battery system of 16 battery units with 20.48kWh Max. capacity and 20.48kW of Max. power. 

Low-Temp Charging Protections & Force Charge: The 12V 100Ah smart LiFePO4 battery have built-in low-temperature charging protection that will auto-cut the battery off from charging when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉. Preventing the battery cells from being damaged from charging under the freezing point. When low-temp charging is necessary, pushing the button will disable the protection and allow charging under the freezing point for emergency use.

Smart BMS with Grade A Battery Cells: The built-in 100A smart BMS provides six protections for your battery: overcharging, over-discharging, over-current, short circuit, over-temperature, and under-temperature. With the full-lifetime management of the smart BMS, LiTime smart LiFePO4 battery using grade A battery cells that can provide over 4000+ cycle time @ 100% DOD for over 10-year.     Q: What battery charger should I use for the LiTime 12V 100Ah smart LiFePO4 lithium battery?

    A: We recommend using a 14.6V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to maximize the capacity. ☆ Recommend charging voltage: 14.2V ~ 14.6V ☆ Recommend charging current: 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5hrs to 100% capacity. 50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2hrs to around 97% capacity. Attention: ☆ Connect the charger to the battery before connecting it to the grid power in case of sparks. ☆ Remember to disconnect the charger from the battery after fully charging.

    Q: Can I use an alternator or generator to charge the LiFePO4 lithium battery?

    A: Yes. You can use your alternator or generator to charge LiTime batteries. If your alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, you can use a 14.6V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to maximize the capacity.

    Q: Are LiFePO4 lithium batteries safe?

    A: Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards. All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.

    Q: Can I use LiFePO4 lithium batteries as starting batteries?

    A: No. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.

    Q: Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels?

    A: Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. You should size your charge controller based on the voltage and current output of your solar array setup. That will ensure that your charge controller can process and regulate the power coming from your solar panels. Take a 24V MAX. 22 amps output solar system as example. You would need a solar charge controller that can handle 24 volts and 27.5 amps (125% of your max current output).

    Q: Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?

    A:LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). LiTime 12V 100Ah Smart LiFePO4 batteries include the low-temperature charging protection which will automatically cut the battery charging off when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉, thus preventing the battery cells from damage when charging under the freezing point. If necessary (not recommended), you can push the low-temp protection button twice, then the BMS would allow your battery to charge under the freezing point for emergency use.

    Q: How do I store LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries?

    A: How do I store LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries?It is recommended to store LiTime LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, cycle the batteries at least every 6 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉),45%RH~75%RH
