Please charge the Bluetooth battery first after receiving it. This will ensure that the battery can be turned on and the Bluetooth connection is established.
Our Bluetooth batteries are delivered in the off state, the virtual voltage of the battery terminal is 3V-5V, this is a normal phenomenon, just use the AC-DC lithium battery charger or MPPT solar charge controller to charge the battery and turn on the battery, it can be used normally.
If you intend to store the battery for an extended period without use, we recommend charging it to a SOC 50% and conducting maintenance every three months. These measures will help preserve its functionality and performance in the long run.
This battery kit is compatible with most 48V golf cart models of Club Car, EZGO, ICON & Yamaha.
The runtime depends on factors like terrain, cart weight, and speed, but typically, this battery can power a golf cart for up to 40–50 miles on a single charge under average conditions.
Lithium batteries are lighter, provide consistent power, charge faster, and last significantly longer than lead-acid batteries, reducing maintenance and overall replacement costs.
No, this lithium battery kit is virtually maintenance-free, unlike lead-acid batteries that require regular water checks and cleaning.
It is not recommended to fully discharge LiFePO4 batteries. Although these batteries can handle deep discharges better than lead-acid batteries, frequently discharging them to 0% can reduce their lifespan and performance. It's best to recharge the battery before it drops below a very low level, ideally at 20% or higher.
Although it is generally safe to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger, as both the charger and the battery itself have a BMS to prevent overcharging, it’s still best to monitor the charging process.
Once the battery is fully charged, disconnecting it promptly is recommended to avoid unnecessary damage.
For convenience, LiTime offers chargers with Anderson connectors, allowing you to stop charging simply by unplugging the Anderson connector without needing to separate the battery terminals from the screws after charging.
However, for optimal safety, it’s advised to first unplug the AC plug before disconnecting the Anderson connector.
My cart is a 2007 club car DS Precedent 48 volt. It had 4 12 volt batteries at a weight of approx 82 lbs each. I replaced with a LiTime 48V 100 ah battery with a weight of 87 lbs. In order for the battery to fit it was necessary to relocate the control board that was located in the center of the battery compartment. I also cut out the molded battery spacers in the floor of the battery compartment. I then cut a piece of plywood to have a solid floor for the entire compartment. Wiring was pretty straight forward with every thing being wired to a shunt on the negative side to allow for battery monitor to accurately determine the draw and status of the battery. I have purchased a 48v to 12V converter to hook up my lights. I ran the cart around our farm and community for five days before having to charge. So far it has been great and no more watering the batteries and no mess on the floor or cart frame from leaking acid. This is really the way to go and is actually cheaper than replacing the conventional acid batteries. Especially if you can do it yourself.
Its only been a few weeks, but I figured Id leave a review for now and update down the road after some time has passed, to let everyone know how its going.
For starters, switching lead batteries out for this is a breeze, that anyone can do at home. It actually took me much longer to get all the old ones out, than to install the new one and hook it all up.
I got a great deal on a 2024 Navitas Storm that had a weak set of lead acid batteries in it. I didnt want to spent 3k on a lithium battery and after doing a ton of research landed on this battery. Its been a night and day difference. I didnt not hook the monitor up. The APP is great and does what I need it to do. I have put a bit over 12 miles on it so far over the last couple of weekends and the battery is still at 76%.
Some other mentioned it, but this is a multiple package delivery. I got everything but the battery hold down kit in the same day. Not a huge deal. I used a ratchet strap temporarily until the tie down kit arrived.
Just completed install of the conversion kit on a Yamaha G29. Great price and easy install by the directions provided. Only complaint is that the shunt comes with M10 bolts. Everything on a golf cart is M8. Just have to drill out each lead so that it will fit over the M10. Also the monitor is fairly big and would not fit anywhere in the dash. I ended up fabricating a L bracket and mounted it on top of the dash. The monitor is currently reading the voltage being used, but not showing remaining amp hours. Based on previous reviews (not in directions) it needs to be almost fully discharged and it will work when re-charged.
Had no issues installing this battery. It's complete with a hold down bracket (that's easy to modify). Battery fit in space of 3 lead acid batteries, now have plenty of space and it's clean and neat. Should come with a 110V adapter to mount in the cart (universal) but you can find them on Amazon to replace your existing plug in mount. Drained as instructed to for first charge, but the app (bluetooth) and the gauge don't align their numbers. You must plug in the charger (first time) to get the gauge and app to start working....nothing is wrong, just plug it in. So far - very happy.
The battery was easy to install, the mounting kit worked well. I was able to reduce the weight of my golf cart by 300 pounds replacing (6) 8 volt with the single 48v 100 AH battery from LiTime. The battery lasts much longer (Goes more miles) and I charge it much less then the lead acid batteries. Being able to quickly look at my iPhone to check the battery status is a great benefit. With a 5 year warranty this purchase is a no brainer.
Very easy to swop out and install. Only issue i had was the terminal rings on the charger leads are to small and won't fit over the battery post other then that very simple process i think anyone can take this on with out stress.
Install went very well. Works perfectly. Compared to old lead acid weight wise its less than half. Hope it lasts for at least 5years.
One comment a bit on the negative. On Amazon site it is listed as a bundle\kit. I received it in three different deliveries. The last item to arrive was the charger. It was a whole week later. No good without it. That was somewhat disappointing.
