When you receive your battery, it may have a low state of charge (SOC) due to transportation and storage. To ensure optimal performance, charge the battery immediately to avoid over-discharge.
Batteries with Bluetooth functionality may arrive in an off state, showing a terminal voltage between 3V and 5V, and you won't be able to connect them to your phone. This is because they are shipped powered off, similar to mobile phones, to minimize self-discharge and extend the battery's lifespan.
There are 2 ways to solve the problem: using an AC-DC lithium battery charger or an MPPT solar charge controller to charge it for 3 to 10 seconds, then the battery can be used normally.
If you plan to store the battery for a long time, charge it to a SOC of 50% and perform maintenance every three months. This will help preserve its functionality and performance.
Yes, here are 3 ways to charge the battery.
1. Using Solar Panels + Solar Charge Controller
The LiTime 12V 230Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 800W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥800W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.
The Recommended Charging Current: ① 46A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 115A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers
To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.
The Recommended Charging Current: ① 46A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 115A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 0℃ to 50℃ / 32℉ to 122℉. LiTime 12V 230Ah LiFePO4 batteries include the low-temperature charging protection which will automatically cut the battery charging off when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉, thus preventing the battery cells from damage when charging under the freezing point.

It is strongly not recommended. Only Bluetooth-enabled batteries can be monitored individually, while the system as a whole cannot be tracked. Mixing them may compromise total capacity and system performance.

Works so far, only negative portion is that the battery does not detect low amperage draws. If you have LED lights in your travel trailer, then it will not register. Pairing with a monitoring recommended to see what draws.

My wife and I purchased a motorhome last fall, it had a 12 volt refrigerator. We had several towable rv’s in the past But they all had old style refrigerators that we ran on propane when boon docking. The motorhome had a 100 ah lead acid deep cell battery but we learned very quickly that the battery would be dead every morning while boon docking. That’s when I started researching the most cost effective way to power my adventures. We just finished our first week that included several days without any hookup. Our 230 ah battery was only discharged 22-25% in the morning. Our routine is to start the generator in the morning so we can make a pot of coffee. It only took 45 minutes to get back to 100%soc. We couldn’t be happier with the Li Time battery and the patient service folks at LiTime who eased my mind while I was making the upgrade. I may add solar in the future to reduce generator run time but currently we are happy campers who now need to adjust to camping without battery anxiety!!

I love the capacity that this battery offers, but I'm not sure the Bluetooth option was worth the money. The Balance, Cells, and BMS buttons give you no details whatsoever. And the Current field ignores any load that is less than 2A. So, if you're looking to see if you have some small, hidden load, this won't tell you.
