When you receive your new battery, it might arrive with a low state of charge (SOC) due to transport and storage. To ensure optimal performance, it's important to charge the battery right away to prevent over-discharge.
If your battery features Bluetooth functionality, like 12V 140Ah lithium battery, it may come powered off, displaying a terminal voltage between 3V and 5V, which means you won't be able to connect it to your phone. This shipping method helps minimize self-discharge and prolongs the battery's lifespan, similar to how mobile phones are shipped.
To resolve this issue, you can use one of two methods: either an AC-DC lithium battery charger or an MPPT solar charge controller. Simply charge the battery for 3 to 10 seconds to enable normal usage.
If you plan to store the battery for an extended period, charge it to a SOC of 50% and perform maintenance checks every three months. This practice will help maintain its functionality and performance.
The LiTime 12V 140Ah battery can be charged in three different ways:
· Recommended Solar Power: >600W
o The battery can be fully charged in one day with 600W solar panels, assuming effective sunlight for about 4.5 hours.
o Charging may take longer than one day if sunlight duration or intensity is less than optimal.
· Recommended Charging Current:
o 28A (0.2C): Fully charges the battery in approximately 5 hours.
o 70A (0.5C): Fully charges the battery in about 2 hours.
· Charging Mode: 12V (14.6V) LI (LiFePO4)
· Use a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to maximize capacity.
· Recommended Charging Voltage: Between 14.2V and 14.6V
· Recommended Charging Current:
o 28A (0.2C): Fully charges the battery in approximately 5 hours.
o 70A (0.5C): Fully charges the battery in about 2 hours.
Tip: It’s advisable to disconnect the charger from the battery once charging is complete.

The LiTime 140Ah group 31 lithium battery features the low-temperature charging protection which will automatically cut the battery charging off when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉, thus preventing the battery cells from damage when charging under the freezing point.

Have not taken on the water yet for testing due to wintry weather in PA.First impression was amazement at the overall weight of this battery when it arrived. I expected to throw out my back knowing the weight of standard lead acid batteries. At 28lbs, this battery barely taxes the Nucanoe gear weight capacity.
Exactly what I was expecting and great performance. Using for a trolling motor. The app get's the monitoring job done. My second LiTime battery. The other is a 30Ah LiTime that runs a Garmin 73sv, a Starlink mini, and a nav light.
I purchased two Group 31, 140 Ah batteries with Bluetooth for my 5 th wheel trailer. Very impressed with the quality and the documentation provided by LiTime. It’s amazing how quickly these can be recharged. I’ve done several charge/discharge bench tests and these perform very well.

I use these batteries for my trolling motor on my 20 foot bass boat. The performance and longevity throughout the day is instantly noticeable. I have fished multiple 8+ hour days and have not ran the batteries below 81% yet. I highly recommend this product.

I bought these batteries to put together a 48 v 140 AmpHr battery bank. I have been using these batteries on a solar system for 1 year in an unheated building. They have performed well. No issues with installation or function at this time. Bluetooth communication works well.
I went out fishing today batteries lasted not even 6 hours in very heavy wind and current will last 3 or 4 days of 10hr days on the water without charging
