Upon receiving your battery, please be aware that it may have a low State of Charge (SOC) due to transportation and storage. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend charging the battery immediately to prevent over-discharge.
For Bluetooth batteries, they may arrive in an off state, showing a virtual voltage of 3V to 5V at the terminals. This is normal and can be rectified by using an AC-DC LiFePO4 lithium battery charger or an MPPT solar charge controller to charge the battery for 3 to 10 seconds, which will activate it for normal use.
If you intend to store the battery for an extended period without use, charge it to a SOC between 30% and 50% and perform maintenance every three months. This practice will help maintain its functionality and performance over time.
Normally, it's not recommended to use a battery designed for a trolling motor in an electric outboard motor since the surge discharge current might not be sufficient. Outboard motors often require higher power for acceleration and sustained operation, which can lead to higher surge currents that trolling motor batteries may not handle well.

So far I am very impressed and happy with LiTimes 36V smart 50 AH battery. I love how I can see the State of Charge. I bought two to have 100 AH with a battery selector switch, but I have only used 32% of one battery on (2) 6 hour jetty trips where I would spot lock the majority of the time. Great job LiTime!

I’ve only used the battery once but I was impressed by how little it discharged in a full day of fishing. I really enjoyed being able to monitor the charging and discharging rates with the Bluetooth app.
So far so good. I replaced 215 pounds of agm batteries for this 33 pound 36 volt 50 ah battery.
I used it twice for a total of 12 hours and still had 51% charge. My old agm batteries would have needed recharge after 6 hours. I call that a win, win.

Good battery at a great price, wish there was a call center for customer service and questions or live online having to wait doesn’t work with my lifestyle. Otherwise amazing service quick delivery. I just find I have to figure out stuff for myself. YouTube is your friend.
