Yes, you can charge LiTime 230Ah lithium batteries with solar panels. Here are 3 ways to charge the battery.
1. Using Solar Panels
The LiTime 12V 230Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 800W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥800W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.
The Recommended Charging Current: ① 46A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 115A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

I purchased this battery to convert our travel trailer from lead acid tecnology to Lithium.
The battery has performed beautifully and met and exceeded my expectations.
I intend to purchase another to further extend our stay limit without external power source.
I bought this battery to replace the existing AGM trolling motor batter in my boat. The packaging on product is excellent, from the box with encased foam, to the instruction booklets and the stickers. Although I havent gotten to use yet because the wind hasnt cooperated, swapping over was a breeze. The weight difference was unbelievable, probably half of the old battery. It charged up fully without issues. Cant wait to see the performance compared to the last battery which was 100 amp hrs compared to this 230. I am using on 12v 55lb thrust trolling motor.
I bought this Thor class B sprinter van and it came equipped with a 400 AH Master volt system, but it wasn't enough to run the air conditioning for eight hours overnight. A new master volt battery cost over $5000. My Li time second bank cost less than a quarter of that price and appears to be performing better!
This is a revision of an earlier one star review…………After an extended shipping period, the battery finally arrived. It appears in excellent condition and very much met my expectations for overall quality. My installation of solar on my RV, with this battery, is complete, and I’m extremely satisfied. What is best however, was the LiTime follow-up with checking on my order. Mavis was an excellent communicator and followed my order to maintain my satisfaction as a continuing customer. Kudos to Customer Service!!! I would definitely purchase again!!!
