Why Reliable Power Matters on Our Homestead
Life on a homestead is always busy. There are cameras to check, animals to care for, the barn to organize, and food to store in the root cellar. Many of these tasks continue after sunset, but without reliable lighting in the barn, even simple jobs become much more difficult.
Before this upgrade, whenever we needed to check on the animals or work in the coop after dark, we had to carry a portable power station back and forth. It worked as a temporary solution, but it was not practical for everyday use.

A Small Upgrade That Changed Our Daily Routine
Once the LiTime system was connected, the first noticeable improvement was simple—the lights came on.
The barn finally had its own dedicated source of electricity. We no longer needed to carry a portable power station back and forth every time we needed lighting or wanted to work after sunset.
The installation day itself was a typical homestead day. It was cold and windy, but the sun was shining. While setting up the solar system, we were also taking care of animals, moving homemade apple cider vinegar into the root cellar, dealing with frozen doors, and checking on the goats and rabbits.
