LiTime launches Go Electric Contest Season 2 with the theme “Argoseeker Sets Sail”, inviting global boaters, anglers, and water explorers to share electric conversion ideas and compete for $20,000 in prizes. The campaign connects real user stories with LiTime’s upcoming Argoseeker electric outboard systems and one-stop marine power solution.
LiTime has officially launched Go Electric Contest Season 2, its annual global user co-creation campaign for recreational boaters, anglers, kayak owners, and water explorers.
Running from July 15 to August 15, 2026, this year’s campaign is themed “Argoseeker Sets Sail.” Participants worldwide are invited to share their current boat setups, electric conversion ideas, real-world challenges, and on-water experiences through photos, videos, or written submissions.
Whether users are considering trolling with an electric motor, converting a paddle craft into an electric boat, or looking for a practical small boat electric power solution, Go Electric Contest Season 2 gives them an opportunity to share their stories, influence future product development, and compete for a share of $20,000 in prizes.

What Is Go Electric Contest?
Go Electric Contest is LiTime’s global user co-creation campaign focused on the future of water electrification.
LiTime created the Go Electric Contest to better understand how real boat users experience life on the water, what prevents them from exploring farther, and what they expect from future electric propulsion systems.
For many kayak owners, anglers, inflatable boat users, and paddle craft explorers, manual paddling is still the main way to move across the water. While paddling is part of the experience, it can become physically demanding during longer trips, in strong winds, against currents, or when the boat carries fishing gear, electronics, batteries, and other equipment.
Some users turn to trolling with an electric motor, but conventional trolling motors may not always provide the power, range, or integrated system experience needed for longer-distance travel. Other users consider a fuel-powered outboard, but may be concerned about noise, emissions, maintenance, fuel storage, and local environmental restrictions.
Electric conversion can offer another path. However, choosing an electric boat motor, battery, charger, controller, cables, and protection devices separately can make the process complicated, especially for first-time users.
Through the Go Electric Contest, LiTime aims to collect real-world feedback across different boat types, water conditions, and application scenarios.
The campaign is designed to help LiTime understand:
- Why users want to convert non-powered boats to electric power;
- What challenges users experience with manual paddling;
- How users choose between a trolling motor and an electric outboard;
- What makes electric conversion difficult or expensive;
- How much thrust, range, and runtime different users need;
- What users expect from a complete marine power system;
- How electric propulsion can improve fishing and recreational boating.
The first Go Electric Contest launched in September 2025 and received more than 500 submissions from users around the world, generating nearly 3.5 million campaign impressions.
Participants shared their existing boat setups, paddling challenges, propulsion needs, and expectations for future on-water experiences. Their feedback became an important reference for LiTime’s upcoming Argoseeker electric outboard motor series.
Go Electric Contest Season 2 continues this user-driven approach. It is not only a global content competition, but also a platform where users can contribute ideas, share practical experiences, and help shape a more accessible future for water electrification.

Why Is the Theme of the Go Electric Contest “Argoseeker Sets Sail”?
The theme of Go Electric Contest Season 2 is “Argoseeker Sets Sail” because the campaign marks the next stage of LiTime’s move from marine battery products toward one-stop marine power solutions.
Based on feedback from the first Go Electric Contest and years of conversations with anglers, outdoor enthusiasts, and small-boat users, LiTime identified several common problems.
Many non-powered boat users want to travel farther but are limited by physical effort. Some existing electric propulsion products require users to source and match the motor, battery, charger, controller, and installation accessories independently. Traditional trolling motors may be suitable for positioning and low-speed movement, but may not meet the needs of users seeking greater thrust, longer travel, and a more complete propulsion experience.
Users searching online for an outboard motor electric alternative or an Electric Boat Motor Kit may find many standalone products, but fewer complete systems designed to work together.
To address these challenges, LiTime spent two years developing, testing, and refining the Argoseeker electric outboard motors.
Argoseeker is LiTime’s new electric propulsion product line for small boats, kayaks, dinghies, inflatable boats, fishing boats, and other lightweight watercraft.
The system is designed to work with compatible LiTime LiFePO4 marine batteries and chargers, bringing together the electric motor, controller, battery, and charging system as a coordinated solution.
Rather than offering only a standalone electric boat motor, Argoseeker is intended to provide a one-stop marine power solution. (The series will work with LiTime’s LiFePO4 batteries, combining the motor, controller, and battery system to deliver a one-stop marine power solution that simplifies the marine electrification upgrade experience from installation to operation.)That simplifies the electric conversion process from product selection and installation to monitoring and daily operation.
A coordinated system can help users simplify:
- Motor and battery matching;
- Voltage and battery capacity selection;
- Charging compatibility;
- Installation planning;
- System monitoring;
- Daily operation;
- Future maintenance and expansion.

The Argoseeker name draws inspiration from the legendary Argo ship in ancient Greek mythology.
Argo represents the courage to venture into the unknown through shared knowledge, collective effort, and exploration. Argoseeker carries this spirit into modern boating by using electric power to reduce physical limitations and help users reach farther waters.
“Argoseeker Sets Sail” therefore represents more than the launch of a new product series. It symbolizes the beginning of a wider journey toward cleaner, quieter, and more accessible on-water exploration.
The upcoming Argoseeker series will initially include two electric outboard systems.
The Argoseeker A1 is a 24V 700W electric outboard motor delivering up to 60 lbs of thrust. It is designed as a compact small boat electric power solution for lighter boats and moderate propulsion requirements. It pairs with LiTime 24V LiFeP04 battery solutions, including 50Ah and 100Ah options.
The Argoseeker A2 is a 48V 2000W electric outboard motor delivering up to 120 lbs of thrust. It is designed for larger loads, longer-distance exploration, and users seeking greater propulsion performance. It pairs with LiTime 48V LiFeP04 battery systems, providing a powerful electric alternative to low-horsepower fuel-powered outboards.
Combined with compatible LiTime batteries and chargers, the two systems are intended to function as integrated Electric Boat Motor Kit options for users who want to move from paddling or fuel-powered propulsion to electric boating.
“The Argoseeker Series was not created in isolation in a laboratory. It was born from years of conversations with outdoor enthusiasts, anglers, and water explorers,” said a LiTime representative.
“Go Electric Season 1 showed us the strong global interest in paddle craft electrification and helped us better understand what users truly need from a complete water power solution. With Season 2, we look forward to welcoming more users and writing the next chapter of ‘From Paddle to Power’ together.”
