Step 1

Connect the cables according to the communication protocol supported by the device. Refer to the table below. If the required connection port is CAN-P | RS485, connect to the first battery in the battery system. If the required connection port is CAN-P | CAN-I, connect to the last battery in the battery system.

Step 2

(Optional) Connect the first battery's CAN-P | CAN-I port to the second battery's CAN-P | RS485 port using the provided battery parallel communication cable, then the second battery's CAN-P | CAN-I port to the third battery's CAN-P | RS485 port, and so on in sequence.

Step 3

Connect the + and of the load to the bus bars. The cable gauge used in this step should be able to support the total input & output current of the entire battery system.

Step 4

Power on one battery and connect to the LiTime App. Tap the bottom-right control icon to enter the Device Control. Turn ON Parallel Mode, then select the required Communication Protocol.

Note: In a parallel battery system, the battery connected to the monitoring screen will complete the communication between the batteries within 5 seconds of switching on the battery. After that, the monitoring screen can not only control the whole battery system but also view the information of the individual batteries and the whole battery system.

If the port connection is incorrect or missing connections, the information can not be read correctly.
