When manually choose “Energy-Efficient” mode to initiate preheating through LiTime app, it enables the battery to utilize its own stored energy for self-heating.
Regular Mode: Heats the battery via an external charger.
Energy-Efficient Mode: Self-heats using its own power, shortens warm-up time.
External heating only heats the casing and does not heat the battery cells. In conditions of -20°C, after external heating for two hours, the battery cells temperature rise to 5°C, but the lead-acid casing temperature has risen to 70-80°C.
Therefore, it is not recommended to externally heat the battery, as the actual cell temperature cannot be determined at this time.
We've had customers use this battery when skiing ice fishing or doing other various winter activities. You can use and discharge LiTime lithium batteries in cold temperatures, but a self-heated battery might be what you want if you plan to charge it in the cold.
Yes. The 165Ah self heating lithium battery can safely charge between -20℃ to 50℃ ( -4℉ to 122℉). The 2 self-heating modes will start heating the battery before charging.

It is strongly not recommended. Only Bluetooth-enabled batteries can be monitored individually, while the system as a whole cannot be tracked. Mixing them may compromise total capacity and system performance.
The 12V 165Ah li-ion battery uses passive balancing technology, which safely manages cell voltage differences to maintain battery longevity and stability.
Right now they’ve exceeded my expectations, I’m running two in parallel, my analogy…the LifePO4 batteries are on steroids! The battery percentage meter in my motorhome stays at 100% SOC, the LiTime APP is very informative!
So far so good. Recently installed the new battery in my boat and installed the app and it was dead on with my charger. Can’t wait to give it a try on the water.
Have had it for almost two weeks now and it took the camper out for a two day trip. I was a little disappointed at how quickly it drained the second day, but also didn’t have a ton of sun to charge it on the solar panels that day. The first night it stayed charged all night with no issue.
