Confused about 1 element, but satisfied, overall.

It does exactly what they're advertising, so for that I give it 5 stars, however I must deduct 2 stars because of a few reasons: the main thing that bothers me is all of their products come with M8 bolts. Their Batteries, their Charger, etc. Yet this is a M10 bolt. To my surprise, after ordering all the aforementioned items, I needed to get an adapter to connect my LiTime battery charger to the LiTime shunt (M8 to M10).

When you live an hour from town and a week for any amazon delivery, that's super annoying.

I am also noticing that it will skip AH reading when you get close to full or empty.

    For example on charge you'll see 220....221.....222.....223......224.....225............230. And vise versa on discharge. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 0.

Another negative: If you preset it for whatever AH capacity your battery is supposed to have, and your battery happens to take more, it will not show you more. It will stop counting up at whatever you preset your capacity at. That seems super silly.

For example, it's well known most batteries give more advertised capacity, by a few %. You should be able to fully discharge the battery, and let the device set the AH capacity by how much charge it takes. Otherwise, you have to throw in extra capacity up front on the configuration menu, then fully discharge it and see how much remains so you can do the math to realize you got an extra 3AH.

Took me 3 discharge cycles to figure out exactly how much AH my battery took because who would have guessed it'd stop counting.

    That's just silly.

Probably would *not purchase again, but I am overall satisfied with the monitor...

Works well and easy to install

I purchased the monitor/shunt package. The shunt was well made and "beefy" so I figure it will hold up well. The monitor was easy to install and works as expected. It would be nice if they gave the torque setting for the shunt as I wanted to make sure the connection was tight but didn't want to break the shunt. Also, after install I noticed that the screen for the monitor was flashing on and off. It looked like the monitor was bad so I started googling it for a solution before I returned the defective unit. After my online research and then verifying by adding loads and disconnecting charging (shore and solar) I verified that the flashing screen meant that the batteries were charging. I don't recall seeing this in the manual... would be nice to put in there so people don't think it's a problem. Aside from having to figure out the flashing screen issue on my own this thing works great.

    Monitor works well, instructions???

Once I figured out the correct setup process (drain battery.??) I was able to get the monitor up and running It appears to be accurate and has a lot of good information. So far, so good 😊
