    Q: What battery charger should I use for the LiTime 12V 100Ah Mini LiFePO4 lithium battery?

    A: We recommend using a 14.6V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to maximize the capacity. ☆ Recommend charging voltage: 14.2V ~ 14.6V ☆ Recommend charging current: 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5hrs to 100% capacity. 50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2hrs to around 97% capacity. Attention: ☆ Connect the charger to the battery before connecting it to the grid power in case of sparks. ☆ Remember to disconnect the charger from the battery after fully charging.

    Q: Can I use an alternator or generator to charge the LiFePO4 lithium battery?

    A:Yes. You can use your alternator or generator to charge LiTime batteries. If your alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, you can use a 14.6V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to maximize the capacity.

    Q: Are LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries safe?

    A: Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards. All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.

    Q: Can I use LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries as starting batteries?

    A:

    No. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.

    Q: Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels?

    A:

    Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. You should size your charge controller based on the voltage and current output of your solar array setup. That will ensure that your charge controller can process and regulate the power coming from your solar panels. Take a 24V MAX. 22 amps output solar system as example. You would need a solar charge controller that can handle 24 volts and 27.5 amps (125% of your max current output).  

    Q: Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?

    A: LiTime 12V 100Ah mini LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). Please note that the 12V 100Ah mini version does not include low-temperature charging protection function.

    Q: How do I store LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries?

    A: It is recommended to store LiTime LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, cycle the batteries at least every 6 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉),45%RH~75%RH

    Nice batteries for a great price

    I bought 4 of these for a solar off grid project. Running a 2k inverter with 1200w of solar and these batteries are doing great. It's still not enough to get completely off grid yet but my power bills have taken a nice dip.
    I also bought 4 of the 50Ah batteries which are working just as well. Those run my 3 3d printers off a 500w inverter and 360w solar.
    I can't wait to get some 200Ah or maybe 300Ah batteries to get completely off grid.
